I will try this product soon, but it has a great rating from EWG.

I only use plant-based toiletries, and only those without fragrance. It is not easy to find products that meet these requirements. This shampoo does so, perfectly. Absolutely no fragrance, great consistency (and a little goes a long way), and it really did deliver on the volumizing. Also, it allowed my natural waves to remain - so difficult in dry winter air. My only comment would be that the bottle is a very hard plastic material, and I'm afraid that if I drop it it will crack. I've bought Nurture My Body products in the past that were in glass, and I understand why a shampoo in a glass bottle might not be a good idea, but a softer material might be better. (However, if this material is the most environmentally-friendly plastic, I am absolutely fine with it!).
I have used sulfate free shampoos in the past but never really been pleased. Wow, I have to say. This stuff is worth it. My hair is fine and long and tends to be oily 36 hours after washing it. With this product I really do have more volume and it seems to be less oily. I find that although it doesn't really lather it spreads better in my hair than other similar sulfate free products. So pleased. It is worth the money if I can wash my hair just a little less often. I do find I need about two quarter-sized applications to get the job done. This is true if other sulfate free shampoos I have used as well.
This is a more natural shampoo and it has a minty smell that is not overwhelming. I shampoo twice to be sure my hair gets really clean. It has decent lather but like other organic products does not give a really frothy lather like more chemical shampoos. My hair does have more body and volume for the first day after using this shampoo however I need to wash it more often. If you wash your hair every day, that is not a concern. I would buy this again but there is another shampoo I purchased from Amazon that I prefer. It's called AVEDA Be Curly.
