I've only been using this product for about a week (3 or 4 times), but I may have discovered my Holy Grail. My scalp gets flaky and itchy, and my hair gets oily easily. I have ever trouble with a lot of conditioners leaving my hair feeling weighed down or feeling like there is left behind residue on my scalp. I also prefer cruelty free products with ingredients I can read, but many of them smell like tea tree oil. I like the scent of tea tree oil I'm just not crazy about ME smelling like it. This conditioner has a fresh smell, like green tea and lemongrass with a hint of floral. It's not a strong artificial smell though. After my hair drys it feels light and super soft. It actually feels conditioned. I can use it near my scalp and it still feels clean, not greasy. The only downside for me is that it is a little pricey for the size of the bottle, and I have long hair so I will probably use it quickly. However I understand paying for quality and I'm willing to do so.
Anyone who knows me know's that i'm crazy obsessed with my hair. As a young girl my hair was so long, thick and curly. A handful of years ago I was diagnosed with 2 autoimmume endocrine diseases that took their toll on my hair. Most of my hair ended up breaking and falling out in the shower. Every week I apply coconut oil AND hemp seed oil to my hair and this last year alone I'd say my hair has grown 7+inches. I've spend hundreds of dollars on shampoos & conditioner's that claim to be 'sulfate free' & natural but they've all failed to meet my expectations. The Wonder Seed shampoo & conditioner is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a faux "no-poo" product that would nourish my transitioning hair. Let me tell you, this shampoo has a light, gentle lather accompanied by a light fresh orange scent that's not "perfumy" like other's I've used. The conditioner is a thick, white balm-like product that smells just as yummy. I condition my hair twice as my hair is dry and curly so my only negative thought was that my conditioning 'habit' is going to be quite expensive as this line is not cheap. On the other hand, this line is so good to my hair that I only need to wash it every 3 days so I can see the long term savings. Not only do I use hemp oil in my hair but it's a staple in my diet as well. Thanks for making a wonderful product!
After almost a year of using an apple cider vinegar rinse as conditioner, I was really missing 'real' conditioner. I spent a looooong time searching for a new conditioner that:
